Our New Favorite Snack

I want to use this blog to share with you what we enjoy and love to keep in our home, especially when it comes to food!  One of the things Carter and I like to do in our spare time while Jeff is away at training camp, is roam the aisles at Target.  I’m sure I’m not the only mom who does this!  Most of the time it’s looking at things we definitely don’t need, but it also allows us to discover new goodies.  I’d love to share one of our new favorite snacks, or perfect side to any meal for your toddler!

I was browsing on the Cartwheel app to see what was on sale, and scope out the coupons for the day at Target.  Side note: if you are a mom and do not have the Cartwheel app for Target yet, stop what you’re doing and go download it!  Amazing deals and savings are waiting for you!  While I was browsing, I stumbled upon a coupon for 25% off something that looked like a pouch of baby food, but I didn’t select the coupon because Carter doesn’t eat pouches very often anymore.

Once we were at Target, I was picking up some strawberries, and I noticed the pouches I saw on Cartwheel, on the top shelf.  I decided to google the brand to find out who makes them, where they are based out of, etc.  This was mainly because I had never seen or heard of the brand before.  On the website I discovered that well-known actress Jennifer Garner is actually a co-founder.  Their website is full of great information.  Here is the link if you’d like to check it out as well (https://onceuponafarmorganics.com).  They have pouches and different recipes for babies, toddlers, and even older kids!  Target only had a small selection when we found them, but I’ll be on the lookout for more next time.

We got home around lunch time so I decided to see if Carter would try to eat one of the pouches.  He sucked it down in about three minutes, and waved it at me as if he wanted more!  I will definitely be picking up a few more of these to keep in the refrigerator.  I love finding good and healthy options for Carter, and when they can possibly double as a yummy snack for myself it’s a total win.  We hope your kiddos enjoy them, too!
